Summer in Nice 2021
You want to come to Nice to study French for the summer but you don’t know clearly how the trip, your life in Nice and your departure will go?
Don’t worry, at alpha.b we explain everything to you and above all we accompany you before and throughout your stay!
Before you leave for your language stay :
If you come from a country on the green list: European countries (except the United Kingdom), the United States, Canada, Australia, South Korea, Israel, Japan, Lebanon, New Zealand and Singapore, you do not need to justify your travel.
From 1 July, the health pass will be recognised for travel within the European area, in the form of a European certificate.
The certificate may include proof of vaccination, a negative test result or proof of reinstatement of the Covid less than 6 months old.
The vaccines recognised by France are: Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson.
If you come from a country on the orange list: Africa, Asia and the majority of countries in the world, you must be vaccinated + provide a PCR test less than 72 hours old or an antigen test less than 48 hours old.
If you are not vaccinated, you will need a compelling reason to come.
If you come from a country on the red list: South Africa, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Turkey … you can only come for compelling reasons. On arrival, you must isolate yourself for 10 days.
If you come from the United Kingdom: a mandatory 7-day isolation is imposed because of the spread of the Indian variant on English soil since 31 May.
During your stay in Nice :
Once you have arrived on the Côte d’Azur you want to know what you can and cannot do.
You can :
- go to the beach without a mask
- walk along the Promenade des Anglais or play sports without a mask
- go to a restaurant (wearing a mask except at the table)
- go to bars
- go to nightclubs (from 9 July)
- go to concerts (with the health pass)
- go to a museum
- going to the gym
In shops, classrooms, museums and public transport, wearing a mask is compulsory.
When outdoors, masks are no longer required.
For your departure:
At alpha.b we have set up a personal accompaniment for all underage students.
Every week, Laura will make an appointment for your PCR tests according to your departure day and time.
Please note that the PCR test now costs 85€ to be paid at the laboratory on the day of the test.
For students over 18, we can also make an appointment for you on request.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us by email at laura@alpha-b.fr or to come and see us directly at the office during your stay.
In any case, you don’t have to worry about anything, we will accompany you from the beginning to the end of your stay.
To conclude, here are some testimonials from students over the last few weeks
